Many of the communities in third world countries observe practices and traditions passed down over the centuries and with little or no comprehension of the changes that’s occurring around them. These are communities that are in remote parts of the country or are kept ill informed of their rights and the opportunities that are available to them. They often become victims of injustice and their lack of literacy denies them any reasonable access to cure. Many end up as indentured labor or are subservient to a landowners and businesses that abuse and oppress them.
We recognize that change takes time and that the possibility of change lies with the next generation. These children can afford a better future if they are given education and the opportunity into professions other than that of their forefathers. These children are catalyst for an altered state and are able to improve their economical outcomes by applying their education and knowledge.
The success of a few in a community can motivate and inspire the rest to aspire for improvements in their lives. Transformation has to happen from within and the resources we extend are geared towards this liberation.
Communities are provided with evening schools, nutritious meals, school supplies, clothes and basic necessities to help them pursue their education and not be encroached to labor simply to supplement the family income. This also removes the financial burden that many families face with the children going to school.
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luke 4:18
We see the Gospel at work, lives set free and communities transformed.
Today, communities and thousands of lives have been impacted because of the financial support and prayer of many who choose to see works of justice carried out.
You can help transform a community.
